Right now I’m working on a baby shower design for a local contest winner {Richmond Dream Baby Shower contest}. It’s been a while since I’ve done a “real party” for a client so I’m excited about pulling it all together. The key points I was given to guide my design are: it’s a girl, shabby chic, tulle, and pink.
My go-to resource for inspiration these days is Pinterest and these photos/parties above are some of the details I may try to incorporate, or at least stear me in the right direction. I love shabby chic design so I think I’ll definitely be incorporating some empty frames and milk glass vases. Some other details are pretty printed fabrics, ribbon, books, and tea cups. I can’t wait to see where I go with this!
UPDATE: See the resulting shabby chic shower I put together using this inspiration.

I love this idea for any party occasion because you can totally take things you have around the house and put them together for a beautiful table! Shabby Chic is super cute AND budget friendly!
I agree. And I love how all the basics are usually kept white for a clean, neutral base.
I love this! I had a shabby chic wedding. I hope you can get your hands on a chandelier!
A chandelier would be fantastic, but I don’t think there’s a place to hang it : (
