Summer Camp Themed Party

What a great way to end the week of featured parties. Rebecca of Fresh Chick Design Studio created the cutest Summer Camp themed party for her son’s 4th birthday, complete with a fantastic DIY campfire cake! This party table exemplifies the Celebrations At Home philosophy perfectly as it combines a few designer elements with several diy ideas, to equal a totally doable style.

Take a look at the photos and you’ll notice some iconic elements like s’mores, a “fishing hole”, and treats like gummy “worms,” gold “fish,” and trail mix. The designer cupcake toppers and cookies complete the look and tie into Rebecca’s printable collection perfectly.

Here’s what Rebecca had to say about the theme: “We hosted a “summer camp” themed party for his 4th birthday. I chose this theme since his birthday falls around the time kids are getting out of school and thought it was a fun way to welcome summer and come up with some ways to extertain the kids”

Doesn’t this party make you want to plan one for yourself? Even just to make the cake! All she did was top a cake with rock crystal candies and Twix candy bars for the kindling. A special “fire” cookie creates the flame, and a printed sign finishes it all off.

Thanks for the great idea, Rebecca!
