Modern Baby Elephant Baby Shower

by Rebekah Dempsey

Right before Christmas one of A Blissful Nest’s design stylists, Michelle Skinner threw a baby shower for a friend who was adopting a baby from Thailand. Piyada is 18 months old and lives with a fabulous foster mother in her home country.  Because of the strong connection the family has to Thailand, we wanted to incorporate their tradition into the baby shower.

Elephants are a symbol of good luck in Thailand, so we created an elephant motif with a modern edge about it.

We also loved these Asian flowers and couldn’t forget about the bamboo!  With a bamboo trellis print along with flowers and the adorable elephant, we knew the Mommy-to-be would love what we came up with!

  2. I just love this and everything I have seen on your blog since I recently joined. I have searched your blog and cannot find anything regarding pinning. Can I pin pictures and give link it to your blog? I will not without permission!

    Thank you

  3. This is so adorable!! I love the flower in the elephants ear! So cute!

  4. Its like you read my thoughts! You seem to know a lot approximately this, such as you
wrote the book in it or something. I think that
you simply could do with a few percent to power the
message house a bit, but instead of that, that is magnificent blog.

A great read. I will definitely be back.
