Right before Christmas one of A Blissful Nest’s design stylists, Michelle Skinner threw a baby shower for a friend who was adopting a baby from Thailand. Piyada is 18 months old and lives with a fabulous foster mother in her home country. Because of the strong connection the family has to Thailand, we wanted to incorporate their tradition into the baby shower.
Elephants are a symbol of good luck in Thailand, so we created an elephant motif with a modern edge about it.
We also loved these Asian flowers and couldn’t forget about the bamboo! With a bamboo trellis print along with flowers and the adorable elephant, we knew the Mommy-to-be would love what we came up with!
