Winnie The Pooh Party

This party feature today is just the “Sweetest” thing! Lynlee of Lynlee’s Petite Cakes hosted a Winnie the Pooh party in honor of the movie being re-released in theaters this weekend. She created a setting surrounded by nature and makes references to bees, honey, and the 100 acre wood. The snack table below is filled with “hunny” snacks like honeycomb cereal, honey graham s’mores on a stick, teddy {bear} graham cookies, honey roasted peanuts, honey butterscotch popcorn, and honey candies! Whew! And if that weren’t enough she also made honey vanilla cupcakes with custom fondant toppers {from her business}. And since the premise of the movie is the characters looking for tails, Lynlee made little ears & tails part of the whimsical topper design.

The snacks on the table are displayed in jars, pots, and canisters with an outdoorsy/garden feel, and is draped with a flag bunting that says “silly old bear.” She also added the red balloon from the movie, to the table décor. I think the red & yellow color palette works so beautifully with the neutral setting. Lynlee made the signage with graphics purchased from Dotted Daisy and Graphique.

A little red wagon holds honey apple juice and honey vanilla pudding and is the perfect height for small kids to reach into. A small child’s table is topped with honey favors for the guests to take home, and is decorated with paper mache books from the craft store, that have a custom “book cover” added. Such a cute touch!

Some of the other décor in the space is a crate turned upside down to showcase Winnie the Pooh paraphernalia including another custom framed sign {I am in love with her paper designs}. The hanging “embroidery” sign is actually made from paper that looks like burlap – so realistic!

I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at this adorable party as much as I have. It would be a great theme for a 1st birthday or any young child’s birthday. You could also use these ideas for a “Teddy Bear” party.

Thanks for the lovely inspiration, Lynlee!
