Sweet As Candy {Styled Shoot}

I had to share this recent styled shoot from some of my local gals!  This brightly colored design set in a candy shop has a bit of a retro vibe, but with a definite modern flair.  Photographed by Katelyn James, the inspiration here is stunning, from sweets table to tabletop!

I love the way the records are made into a hanging garland, and also used as “coasters” (on the cake table).  The seated tabletop is built with layers which adds more interest, and each place setting has some yummy candy details.

If you know a bride to be who loves interesting retro-modern details, this would make a beautiful bridal shower, or even a special birthday dinner.  Amazing work!

I was using red polka dots with teal and saw this and just am going with it! The candy theme just fit along with vintage sodas! Thanks for posting. So excited and inspired. :) Looking for the labels on the candy jars too!

    • Oh and I forgot to mention my brother and his fiance met at a San Jose SHARKS game… when I saw the apothocary with the gummy sharks… I had to do this theme for the party!

    • Hi! The labels and candy buffet were created by Sweet Spot in Richmond, VA.
