What do you do when you have several young friends with birthdays within 6 weeks of each other? Why not host a group birthday party like Kirstin of Kojo Designs did, and let everyone celebrate together as one! Kirstin and the other moms chose to use the color yellow as a theme and included lemonade, snow cones, lemon head candies, and yellow fabric to carry out the color scheme.
One of the other mothers also made coordinating outfits for all the kids to wear - aren’t they adorable?! The party hats were made using this tutorial on Oh Happy Day, and banners with each child’s name on it hung overhead – a great way to add a personal touch for each one. Other fun for the day included a large pinata, and bouncy house.
Kirstin made fabric drawstring bags to fill with goodies, and pleated streamers for decor, using this tutorial on Made. Big thanks to Kirstin for sharing with us, and I hope you’ll use some of these ideas in your own party, whatever color you choose!
