Yellow & Teal Bridal Shower Ideas

Today I have a beautiful photo shoot to share with you from Julianne Cragg of A Modern Proposal, and Jen of Jen Williams Photography.
This creative display was put together to share how easy and lovely a DIY wedding can be.  I think it is perfect for Birthdays, or Bridal Showers, as well as some great take-away ideas for any type of party.  Some of my favorite ideas:
  • Use ribbon on the table to add color and interest.
  • Make your own coordinating fabric napkin rings with scrapbook flower embellishment.
  • Mini frames from the $1 bin at Michael’s works well to identify food, or as a name card holder on the dining table.
  • A novel way to add names or special messages is to print the information and then cut out strips of paper.  Fold the paper in half and curl the ends.  Add to the side of drink glasses!
  • Put together a centerpiece with fabric flowers.
  • Add theme-related embellishment to individual drink bottles.

Welcome to Fantasy Island…I knew you would get that! :) Crushing on this table, btw, LOVE the fabric flowers…I've been on a tissue/felt pom kick lately, and making flowers is so hot and green right now.
