New Years Eve Inspiration {x 3}

With New Years Eve 2 days away, I couldn’t let it pass without sharing some ideas with you.

 Are you in the mood for an elegant dinner with friends? This beautiful table setting has all the sparkle and shine for New Years without going over the top. Originally set as a “Modern Chanuka Tablescape (from Laura Gross)” in the Holiday Entertaining contest at HWTM last year, I think it translates perfectly to NYE with it’s sparkly placemats and shiny star ornaments.

 If you’d like to increase your guest list, try this adult soiree from BHG. This feels very casual but still celebratory. Serving appetizers and cocktails to a crowd is much easier than serving a full dinner.

 I know there are lots of folks out there that like to include the kids for the big celebration as well. The solution?….Set up a kid friendly party with seperate tables for the adults and kids. This party from BHG has all the color and creativity that appeals to the young ones, as well as the festive feel the adults crave.

    I love the kid's party (of course!) We usually have family game night and order Chinese food. I would like to add some of this decor.

    All of these parties are fabulous– I can't believe I missed this over the holidays– the first table is so great!
