Raise your hand if you love Sangria! It’s the perfect combination of wine, liqueur, and fruit. It feeds a crowd, you make it ahead, and it’s one of the best summer pitcher drinks for entertaining.

Get the recipe below plus a bonus tip for how you can pump this up even more to serve a bigger crowd!

White Wine Sangria

This is an easy pitcher drink for summer parties. It’s also terrific for a tailgating party and game day snacks, a bridal shower, or a Mexican Fiesta.

The color is a nice peach hue but the addition of frozen berries and peaches gives this a pinkish tint. Keep that in mind if you’re trying to create a signature cocktail to coordinate with your party colors.

PARTY TIP: If you don’t want the pink tint to your drink, just substitute sliced apples for the berries.

How to Make It

Sangria is one of the easiest pitcher drinks you can make. And the fact that you make it ahead makes it easy on the host.

  1. Start with a dry white wine. We use Pinot Grigio but you could also try it with Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc.
  2. You’ll need peach schnapps and peach nectar. I usually find cans of peach nectar in the Mexican food section of the grocery store.
  3. Make sure you thaw the frozen lemonade concentrate in the refrigerator so it’s easy to pour.
  4. For ease in preparation, use frozen sliced peaches, and berries. You could also add fresh sliced apples.
  5. The trick to making great sangria is to add everything together and let it refrigerate for several hours. The fruit will get nice and saturated with the sangria, and the liquid ingredients will blend to perfection.

Use 2 large bottles of Pinot Grigio {equivalent of 4 regular size bottles}, 3 cups schnapps, 3 cans peach nectar, 2 cups of the lemonade concentrate, and add 2 cups of vodka for an extra kick. Let it chill for 6 hours with cut fruit inside.
