Cocktails For St. Patrick’s Day!

Are you planning to “get your Irish on” for St. Patrick’s day? Here are 2 green cocktails to get you started and into the spirit of the Emerald Isle. Here is a fabulous green “tini” recipe that is not apple flavored. It is published by the name of Jade, but I think I would call it “The Emerald” for St. Patty’s reference.

The Emerald Cocktail

2 oz pineapple juice
1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
1 oz midori
1 oz fresh lemon juice
1 oz fresh lime juice
1 oz simple syrup
place in ice filled shaker and shake for ten seconds. pour into martini glass

Check out this Champagne cocktail. Could it get any more perfect for St. Patty’s day? I mean it even has the GOLD flecks from the Goldschlager! I would call this one “Pot O’ Gold”!

Pot O’ Gold Cocktail

1 shot Midori
1 shot Goldschlager
Champange
Pour into a flute glass and enjoy

Thanks for all the comments this week Dollface! I have been in and out all week and crazy busy but I just wanted to touch base: Yes, those were cheerios in the bucket; and I’m glad you enjoyed the caprese skewers…delish!

  3. I like the idea of anything mixed with champagne-except Goldschlager. I remember thinking I was cool in high school and sneaking it from my parents liqour cabinet! I haven’t been able to drink the stuff since!!
